Privacy at Templeline
Templeline collects as little as a website can. There are no accounts, no forms, no mailing list and no advertising trackers.
Templeline is a reading site. You cannot create an account, there is no sign-up or enquiry form anywhere on it, we do not run a mailing list, and we do not load advertising or social-media trackers.
What our servers record
Like almost every website, the servers that deliver Templeline keep short technical logs of requests: the address a request came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser's own description of itself. We use these only to keep the site running and secure, for example to spot errors or abuse. The site is delivered through a content-delivery and security network, which processes the same kind of request data to protect the site from attacks.
Cookies
Templeline itself sets no cookies. The pages do not need them to work, and we do not use them to follow you around the site or the web.
Following a paid link
Some links, marked as paid where they appear, go through an address on our site beginning with /go/, which forwards you to the company concerned. Once you arrive, that company's own privacy policy applies, and it or its affiliate network may set cookies to record that you came from Templeline. That is how an affiliate programme credits a sign-up. We do not receive your name or health information from these companies; at most, a programme reports that a referral happened.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and to act on what you sent. We do not add you to any list, and we do not share your message with anyone else.
Health information
Please do not send us personal health details. We cannot give medical advice, and we would rather not hold information we have no use for. If you do send some, we will delete it once we have replied.
Your rights and changes
You can ask us what, if anything, we hold about you, and ask us to delete it, by writing to [email protected]. If this policy changes, the date at the foot of the page will change with it.
